Job Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Medical/Health Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Mission and Contribution of this position: Description General SummaryOperates ultrasound equipment and performs a variety of technical diagnostic procedures which encompass the specialty areas of Peripheral Vascular Imaging. Provides a preliminary report of procedure completed. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic tests inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, documentation of findings, under the direct supervision of the supervisor and/or Non-Invasive Cardiology Manager. Assists patients with basic patient care needs. Provides emergency care, notifying appropriate personnel and ensures that patient safety is not jeopardized.Minimum Job QualificationsPreferred Education: Two Year Degree in health related programMinimum years in field previous to employment: 3 Preferred number of years in field: 5 Successful completion of a two-year health related program in a related medical field which include seminar course training in one of the following: vascular ultrasound.Licensure, Certification and/or Registration: Registered RVT or RVS required Benefits: Your contributions are rewarded by a total compensation package that includes competitive salaries, first-day benefits and a variety of transportation options.
