Pharmacist - Clinical - Days - 4 - 10 hour Shifts - Convenient Central Location

Our client is conveniently located in the heart of Central California making for easy access to many of the state's main tourist destinations. Summary:

Our client a modern state-of-the-art Medical Center seeks a Clinical pharmacist to join their professional team.

 

You will function as a drug specialist and therapy consultant in promoting optimum medication use in patient care areas whose client base includes patients of all ages.  Compound, package, label, and dispense drugs and intravenous admixture solutions; and confirm accuracy of work performed by technical and pharmacy intern support personnel; review prescribed drug therapy for appropriateness, effectiveness, and safety based on specific data such as age of patient, disease state, and clinical status.  Perform quality assurance, drug use evaluation, and adverse action reporting activities; participates in the application of all clinical services.

Variable Days

10 hour Shifts

 

Qualifications:

 

▪          Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.

▪          Current California pharmacy license. 

▪          1-2 years experience as a Hospital Pharmacist.

▪          Residency in hospital pharmacy desirable.

▪          Ability to work independently.

▪         Excellent verbal/written interpersonal communication skills.
