Facility:

Our Client a regional referral Medical Center has been serving a seven-county area in the central panhandle of Florida for over 50 years providing state of the art medical, surgical and diagnostic services.

 

Position Summary:

Our client an acute care referral Medical Center has an immediate need for Clinical/Staff pharmacist to join their professional staff. As an active team member you will rotate between three areas of responsibility including but not limited to rounding between assigned nursing units, supervision of I.V. admixture room and central pharmacy where you will oversee technicians load and refill Pyxis Rx2000 distribution machines. You will work in a supportive team environment, interact with patients, physicians, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. Provide drug information to the medical and hospital staff when required and supervise auxiliary staff functions.

Position/Schedule:

Day Shift – 7 Am to 3 PM

Every 2nd/3rd weekend

 

Position Requirements:

▪  B.S. of Pharmacy or Pharm. D degree

▪  1 year hospital experience preferred

▪  Ability to communicate at all levels

▪ New grads & Retail experience considered

 

Licensure/Certification:

Required:  Current State of Florida licensure or eligible
