Pharmacist, Staff:

The Staff Pharmacist - Basic Function: Filling and dispensing prescriptions in a retail pharmacy.

General Responsibilities: Filling and dispensing prescriptions Counseling patients Customer service Adhering to HIPAA privacy compliance Ensure compliance with all state and federal privacy laws. 

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities: Filling and dispensing prescriptions Counseling patients Customer Service Oversees the work of the Pharmacy Technicians Complete necessary pharmacy logs to meet state requirements Complete necessary accounting work

Position Requirements:

Reports to:  Pharmacy Manager

Education or Equivalent:  4 year degree in RPh

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:  Leadership and team building.

Physical/Mental Requirements:Licensed Pharmacist.Position requires at least 3-4 years experience in retail pharmacy industry.Effective oral and written communication skills.Capable of managing and executing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work Environment: Retail pharmacy
