JOB DETAILS: Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: ROTATING; Days of work: rotating SUMMARY: This position is responsible for dispensing and compounding medication, counseling patients on medication and health subjects; interpreting prescriptions, managing patient drug therapy for complications, and performing drug utilization. He/She collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other health-care practitioners to provide safe, high quality, and cost-effective drug therapy. REQUIREMENTS:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution and a current Ohio pharmacist license. Completion of a Pharmacy Practice residency or equivalent hospital experience.SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGEPharmacology/Therapeutics for all age groups. Aseptic Technique and drug literature review. KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCEPrevious hospital pharmacy experience.
