In return, we reward them with one of the best total compensation packages in our industry.We are currently looking for a Pharmacy Ancillary in the Alamo area!Duties and Responsibilities Primary · Answer phones· Filing ( prescriptions, invoices, RTS’s, voids)· Resolve 3rd party adjudication problems · Clarify insurance billing issues· Notify patients· Enter data from refill requests· Check in and put away central fill, RXD and wholesaler’s orders· Return pharmacy saleable and expired products· Maintain patient profiles (updates from 70.1 forms)· Request refill authorizations by calling doctors or faxing· Process IVR refills and voicemail requests· Take refill authorizations from doctors’ offices· Request TARS,PARS and other PA’s Secondary · Gain knowledge of local 3rd party plans· Use the cash register· Assist customers in product locations, special orders · Put away prescriptions in “Will Call Area”· Help with inventory management (pulling outdates, etc)· Assist in cycle counting If trained, assist in data entry of new prescriptions Qualification and Requirements  Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent Minimum of 0 - 6 months experience in the field or in a related area Must pass company’s background check procedures Basic computer skills Excellent telephone etiquette skills Excellent customer service skills Benefits  Competitive wages Medical/dental/vision care Paid sick days/holidays/vacation Employee purchase privileges 401(k) plan Contact  Name: Cheryl Cariaga Phone: (925) 556-5333 Fax: (925) 828-1845   Store Information  Address: 3158 Danville Blvd., Alamo, CA 94507 Phone: (925) 314-9710 Longs Drug Stores is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
