We are currently seeking a PHARMACY - INFECTIOUS DISEASE CLINICAL SPECIALIST committed to excellence. This opportunity is a Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm position at our Corporate Offices in Sugar Land, Texas reporting to the Vice President of Pharmacy.
Major Responsibilities:Develops patients-and physician centered pharmaceutical care services. Develops and oversees clinical programs.Evaluates new drug therapies for clinical efficacy and pharmacoeconomics viability. Develops and reviews drug protocols and standard orders. Provides drug information and education to clinical staff. Coordinates and moderates Pharmacy Grand RoundsWorks closely with Chairman of Board and Vice President of Pharmacy on all clinical projects.Coordinates clinical research studies for facilities.Works with each College of Pharmacy and oversee students.Presentations locally and nationally as necessary.
Qualifications:Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or M.S. in Pharmacy.Residency in Hospital Pharmacy or Infectious Disease Fellowship.Five years of in-depth clinical pharmacy experience; including previous experience in infectious disease.Active in state or nationally professional organization.Applicable State Board of Pharmacy License.
