Pharmacy Informatics Professionals

We are looking for several Pharmacy Informatics Professionals to work for a multi-facility located in Florida. Your role will consist of system designing, building and implementing Millennium PharmNet at multiple sites.All levels are encouraged to inquire.  Positions are for Registered Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians and pharmacy analysts who have at least 2 years experience in the design & build of Cerner Millennium Pharmnet PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - IS Project coordinator: Works closely with assigned Information Technology and Pharmacy to ensure department goals are met. Participates in the design build testing and roll out of the integrated electronic health record. - Supports all pharmacy department information technology initiatives. KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:- Knowledge of pharmacy Cerner PharmNet Millenium computer system and database management. (preferred but not required) - Ability to understand the integrated medication process including barcoded medication administration charges CPOE nursing administration medication dispensing etc. - Ability to become familiar with bar coded medication administration process and bar code technical details - Skill in communicating changes and needs of pharmacy practice. - Computer skills: database management; troubleshooting; knowledge of software applications. - Ability to maintain standard of operations and implement planned changes within good pharmaceutical practice. This includes managing databases implementing procedural changes and working with other departments to improve patient care and increase pharmacy productivity.Travel is required but all travel is paid for you and you get to keep the hotel points and airline miles for your personal vacations.
