Pharmacy Order Entry Technician

The Order Technician will be responsible for eentry of orders in medication profile, medical transcriptions, customer service and obtaining prior approvals.  Will also help with roll out of electronic MARs.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience preferred.

SKILLS: Good oral and written communication skills. Must be organized, possess computer skills utilizing MS Office applications and have strong phone and customer service skills. Knowledge of medical terminology helpful, but not required. Must be able to manage time effectively, work independently, and be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
