Phlebotomist - Framingham

The following exciting new opportunities exist in the FRAMINGHAM area.

Focus:

 Responsible for all aspects of blood collection health histories and venipuncture according to specified standards with consideration for the safety and comfort of the donor, the quality of the product for the recipient, and maintenance of a warm, congenial atmosphere for the blood donor.

Comprehensive paid classroom and on-the-job training will be provided.  Our next training classes begin on May 5th and June 2nd.

Job summary:

You will conduct health history interviews and vital signs, determine donor eligibility, perform phlebotomies and promote excellent donor care during the safe collection of blood units. 

Work Schedule:

Hours vary daily and are based on the scheduled blood drives.  Schedules are given at least 2 weeks in advance and will include some weekend work.

You will drive your own vehicle to and from collection sites. A Valid driver's license along with a good driving record is required.

Qualifications:

Requires job knowledge equivalent to that attained in a High School education. 

Recent coursework in Phlebotomy and/or directly related work experience desired.

Must exhibit professional and friendly demeanor with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service; effective communication and public relations skills.
