Phlebotomist - Roanoke, VA

Talecris Plasma Resources specializes in the collection of human plasma used in therapies that help people everywhere maintain and enhance their quality of life. Continued growth at our Roanoke, VA Plasma Donor Center has created an immediate, full-time opening for a Phlebotomist.

 

You will be responsible for performing plasma collection of donors. Duties include: preparing all equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures; monitoring donors and equipment operations to ensure health of donors and quality of product; maintaining accurate documentation of records; and ensuring donor confidentiality and related functions.

 

Position requires a High School Diploma (or GED), excellent customer service skills and familiarity with state/federal regulations, FDA approved operating procedures, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMPs. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Bilingual and previous medical experience desired.
