Spectrum Laboratory Network is a regional clinical laboratory doing business throughout the Southeastern US serving hospitals and physicians by providing top quality laboratory services

 

We are currently seeking an experienced PHLEBOTOMY SUPERVISOR for the Macon area.

 

 

Duties include:

 

Responsible for day-to-day scheduling of phlebotomists to assure phlebotomy coverage within their team.



 Assists with interviewing phlebotomists and hiring process. Provides input to the Regional Manager.

 Provides input to Regional Manager regarding work performance of phlebotomists; communicates unscheduled absences to Regional Manager as needed; addresses issues promptly with Regional Manager.

 Reviews and monitors Kronos and approves timecards accurately and within the established timeframe.

 Assist with supply orders for assigned PSC.

 Assists Regional Manager in relaying time-sensitive information to employees.

 Maintain excellent working relationship with area team members.

 Recognizes patient and staff rights, which include considerate and respectful treatment, right to information, and privacy and confidentiality of all communications and records.

 Visits team members on a regular, scheduled basis.
