Not to mention generous continuing education options and an enticing program that provides monetary awards to staff demonstrating clinical excellence.  Types of patients and injuries you would work with: Our inpatient rehabilitation unit provides a comprehensive individualized team approach to a person’s rehabilitation following hospitalization for stroke, head injury, trauma or other complex medical diagnoses. The Job: As a Physical Therapist at Salem Hospital you will have the opportunity to provide evaluation and therapeutic intervention services to inpatients in collaboration with physicians, nurses and other rehabilitation professionals. An ability to identify feelings and perspective of othersMinimum Qualifications: Graduate of a program approved by the Committee on Accreditation in Education of the American Physical Therapy Association. Holds a valid license to practice in the state of Oregon or is able to obtain Oregon licensure as a Physical Therapist prior to date of hire. Strong preference will be given to candidates with successful experience working on a multidisciplinary team. New graduates with training and experience in neurological rehabilitation encouraged to apply.
