As a Physical Therapist at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, you are expected to provide exceptional patient care to our outpatient orthopedic patients while working closely with our orthopedic and primary care physicians. Our dynamic Physical Therapists establish short and long-term goals to appropriately address patients’ deficits with specific regard to diagnosis and potential prognosis. Our Physical Therapists should have excellent oral communication skills in order to explain procedures to patients and act as a resource person for staff, providing in service education and consultation in understanding the affects of physical movement impairments.

Using our state of the art medical record system, Physical Therapists should be able to maintain accurate and timely records of service rendered to patients, including clinical and progress notes. S/he may also supervise the treatments provided by the Physical Therapy Assistants regarding the prognosis of the patient. Optimal qualifications for this position would include at least a one year of experience working in an outpatient setting. You must have a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Master’s preferred with a current license in Massachusetts as a Physical Therapist.
