Job DescriptionUsing discretion and independent judgment, the Staff Physical Therapist provides age-appropriate physical therapy interventions for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, including comprehensive assessment; direct treatment to individuals and groups; supervision of treatment delivered by the PTA, or Clinical Techs; development of home programs, patient, and family instruction; participation in family and team conferences; evaluation and selection of adaptive equipment participation in quality improvement programs; and documentation of services according to facility and departmental standards.
