Physical Therapist Supervisor/Manager

 

Ideal candidate will be responsible for the supervision of all rehab services personnel; Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist and Rehab Techs. Oversees the clinical student program.  Will be indirectly responsible for physical therapy students and clinical volunteers

 

Required Education/Licensing:

 

Graduate of and accredited university program of Physical Therapy.  Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.   Active Florida Physical Therapy License. CPR Certification, AIDS Education Minimum of 2 to 5 years clinical experienced in various settings, acute care, outpatient, Rehab, private practice, Nursing Home. Supervisory Experience 2 years preferred. Must possess thorough knowledge of therapeutic principles, methods and techniques, standards of practice for Physical Therapy.  Also knowledgeable in the use of equipment and instruments for Physical Therapy evaluations and treatments. Good teamwork principles, minimal supervisory/management background.
