Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is accredited by Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO); The American Osteopathic Association; the Cancer Commission of the American College of Surgeons; and The College of American Pathologists The ideal candidate will provide Medical expertise, diagnosis and treatment of children of abuse and suspected children of abuse for the Regional Diagnostic Treatment Center and CHEC program Perform evaluations for CHEC Children Perform evaluations for physically and/or sexually abused childeren Available for consulation and second opinion for Division of Youth and Family Services Available one (1) to two (2) times per year for general Service of in-patient admissions Provide follow-up of patients seen in the Emergency Room Consultation of in-patient and out-patients as needed Provide education to Residents and Medical Students Board Certified Physician in Pediatrics and/or Adolescent Medicine NJ Physician license Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Expertise/experience in treatment and diagnosis of children of abuse SBHCS is an Equal Opportunity Employer To Apply for this position, please CLICK HERE
