Polysomnographic (PSG) Technician - PRN/Part-time

This position is part-time, non-benefit eligible and will be located at the new Children’s Legacy Campus in Plano.  This position will be responsible for performing a wide variety of polysomnographic laboratory studies under the general supervision of the Manager, Neurophysiology.  Duties will include:Compiling data from scored polysomnograms and studies for physician review.Assisting in establishing and maintaining department procedures and protocols.Assisting with or performing clinical research procedures.Participating in conferences and technical meetings.Providing patient and family education regarding use of prescribed equipment and accessories. 

High school diploma or equivalent required; at least two years of college preferred.  Must be a graduate of an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training.  Must be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
