Polysomnography/Sleep Technician Trainee

Sleep diagnostic company seeks committed, responsible person to train as a night-time sleep technician for labs in Metro St. Louis area. 

Job Purpose: To evaluate and treat individuals with obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep disorders.

Duties: Preparing individuals to undergo testing, monitoring individuals while they sleep, documenting carefully, and administering appropriate treatment.

Skills/Qualifications: Attention to detail, self-motivation, positive attitude, strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to interact well others, a desire to learn and work in a fast-growing medical field.  Customer Service experience and the ability to effectively navigate computers are required.  Prior medical experience/knowledge is not required but is beneficial.  College graduates with a background in Psychology are encouraged to apply.

The person hired for this position will work 3-4 nights per week, 10-12 hours per night.  This is a paid training position with benefits after waiting period.
