Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center
The Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center (AMRTC) in Anoka, Minnesota is seeking a board certified or board eligible family practice physician to provide direction and coordination, and treatment to patients and provide medical services to patients in compliance with all relevant standards, Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations.
General Description: To provide primary and physical health care including, but not limited to: health histories and assessment and diagnosis, systematic data collection, analysis of laboratory findings, making differential diagnosis, and developing plans of treatment for client.
Qualifications: Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Family Practice and licensure as a physician in the State of Minnesota. Ability to diagnose and treat uncomplicated medical problems and refer or obtain consultations from appropriate specialists for more complicated medical problems. Thorough knowledge of modern medical practice and delivery of systems especially related to the care and treatment of the population served.
AMRTC is a tertiary care psychiatric hospital, accepting only comitted patients as transfers from other facilities in the eight-county Twin Cities metropolitan area. Our 200-bed inpatient mental health facility consists of eight 25-bed units. One of these units is dedicated to the treatment of psychiatric patients with comorbid medical conditions, one is devoted to the management of “Rule 20” treat to competency patients, and one is for patients with high levels of behavioral acuity. The remaining five units are general psychiatric units. Our average length of stay is about 70 days.
Benefits: We offer a competitive base salary of up to $205,898 for board certified and up to $161,820 for board eligible family practice physician. On call pay is in addition to our base salary and benefits. In addition, the state's contribution toward your insurance, retirement, Medicare and Social Security benefits is 30 percent of your salary. Not including the cost of vacation time, holidays, sick leave and other benefits. Your total compensation is up to $267,667 for board certified and up to $210,366 for board eligible. We also are offering to pay relocation cost of up to $12,500. Employees earn 11 paid holidays per year. Health insurance is free to employees who work 3/4 time or more. Dependent coverage is $59.00. semi-monthly.
