JOB MISSION SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prompt, efficient and professional handling of a minimum of 70 inbound calls per day Callers consist of health care providers
- Verify member eligibility
- Verify provider affiliation
- Verify facility affiliation
- Verify that service meets criteria
- Research past history and authorizations, looking for duplicates
- Document the request in the system prior authorization module



Required Skills:
REQUIRED SKILLS
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years in a call center, preferably in a fast paced environment
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Medical terminology
