Process Development Associate II/Engineer I

We are seeking a Process Development Associate II/Engineer I to join our team in the Preclinical Manufacturing and Process Development department. This person will assist in the development of bioreactor processes used in production of Regeneron’s recombinant protein and antibody therapeutics. They will also be involved in cell culture and bioreactor production efforts to produce substantial quantities of protein for research testing. He/she would be responsible for small-scale cell culture in flasks, cultivation of mammalian cells in bench and pilot scale bioreactors, aseptic technique, nutrient feed formulation and implementation, and data interpretation. He/she will interact closely with people in research as well as manufacturing, who will utilize newly developed and improved processes in Regeneron’s clinical manufacturing programs.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemical, Biochemical or Biomedical Engineering.  Significant interest and knowledge in biological process is also desirable.
