Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the management and performance of products assigned including product development and rollout, pricing and growth and profit objectives. Responsible for performance of assigned product and services and development of category plans. Maintains strong working relationships with sales, network services, account management, pricing analysts, brokers and consultants and other outside parties to effectively support and develop product lines assigned Proactively coordinates with sales and other areas on developing programs to effectively meet the needs of customers. (such as review and develop plans for fulfillment of special requests, RFP strategy, presentations to demonstrate value, etc). Determine how product will be supported by claims, operations and IT, and responsibility for product enhancements and rollouts. Keeps up to date on competitive and market conditions and proactively reacts to changes and opportunities in the marketplace. Manages and communicates product cost pricing. Professional development through attendance at industry events or other development activities. Coordinates activities with all parts of the organization and monitors organizational change and makes appropriate modifications to product and service offerings. Selects, develops and maintains a group of high performing managers and staff. Provides periodic feedback and coaching to the staff and annual performance reviews. Other duties as assignedQualifications: College degree is required Advance Degree and/or designations preferred Requires a minimum of five to ten years of management experience with at least 5 years experience in the health care industry and extensive experience with assigned product lines. Demonstrates an ability to develop creative solutions. Ability to think strategically with appropriate level of detail analysis and review Demonstrates an ability to work collaboratively across the whole organization Demonstrates initiative and proactivity in dealing with issues and driving them to conclusion Demonstrates highest levels of business and professional ethical behavior Proven ability to adapt quickly to unique situations and make decisions that impact overall plans and goals. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, demonstrated by an ability to coordinate and communicate across functional departments, and with external contacts. Must have excellent presentation skills. High degree of analytical skills demonstrated through extensive experience analyzing data, identifying problems, and recommending solutions. Evidence of ability to work in a highly independent manner and to plan, organize, and accomplish assignments in a timely and credible manner.
