The QA Analyst is responsible for test creation and execution as well as reporting results of the testing to the QA Team Lead. Responsibilities include entering defects into the defect tracking system and re-testing of these defects. This individual should have the ability to understand, analyze, and effectively work through issues, as well as be able to recommend solutions.

The QA Analyst will also be responsible for creating business specifications and documenting/revising processes and procedures as assigned. This position requires analytical skills, the ability to learn different systems, and comprehend basic testing logic.


Job Skills/Requirements
Essential Functions:
Create Detailed Test Cases
Create Test case specific test data
Execute Test cases
Report/Retest Defects
Create business specifications for system enhancements
Document processes and training aides for internal business units
Create/revise business processes and methodologies
Perform process flow mapping and modeling
All other duties as assigned by the QA Team Lead

Additional Requirements:
2 years general business and/or BPI experience in a technical position.
Prior experience of analytical or project related work
Experience with system support tools strongly desired (Strong SQL experience recommended)
Demonstrates process modeling methodology, time management and project management skills
Must have strong problem solving abilities with the ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions
Outstanding customer service and written/verbal communication skills required
Industry related knowledge is a plus
Must be able to successfully complete any required pre-employment testing
Experience in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Visio, and Access
Demonstrates project management, organizational, and time management skills
Must be able to follow written guidelines
Must be able to communicate clearly with others
Self-motivated (minimal direction and/or supervision required)


Additional Information/Benefits
All benefits are effective on the 29th day of employment with the exception of tuition reimbursement, which is effective after 90 days of employment.
