Position Summary

 

Talyst is focused on providing innovative and reliable solutions that help pharmacies run more intelligently. The Product Specialist will provide technical expertise, support and direction for the AutoPharm™ product line including inventory management, packaging, and labeling.  This position will be a technical resource for Product Development, Customer Support, Field Service, Installation, and Sales. This position requires travel up to 75% of the time.

 

Location: Seattle, Washington or Los Angeles, California

 

Responsibilities

 

Overall product expert on current and future Talyst AutoPharm applications.

 

Act as an internal product specialist for Product Development, Customer Support, Field Service, Installation, and Sales.

 

Participate in pre-sales teleconferences as a “product expert” and document the output of the pre-sales discussions for transfer to the interface programming group.

 

Provide input to the Product Development group related to product features and requirements.

 

Transfer product knowledge to and work with customer support teams for maintaining current and future product.

 

Responsible for working with customers and focus groups to continually improve products.

 

Prioritize and specify autoPharm product requirements.

 

Translate non-technical customer requested into technical software requirement specifications.

 

Generate technical content for operator and installation manuals.

 

Participate in product testing to ensure compliance with specifications.

 

Understand and abide by company corporate values at all times.

 

Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations.

 

Protect the confidentiality of sensitive and/or proprietary company information.

Perform other duties as assigned or directed.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

 

· BSCS required, advanced degree preferred; with 10+ years pharmacy workflow experience and 5+ years direct experience with pharmacy automation

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Able to provide technical vision towards future product directions

· Able to communicate clearly with customers

· Able to work under pressure of deadlines

· Fluent in English

· Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other common office tools

· Ability to travel 75% of the time
