Program Director

For over 20 years, the Pines Residential Treatment Centers have provided quality residential programs for youth through a multi-disciplinary professional staff and community resources. We provide unique, ethical and highly individualized treatment programs within a nurturing environment. Currently, we seek a Program Director to provide overall leadership and manage all operational aspects.

The Program Director will be responsible for providing program development and planning. This includes assuring effective census management, coordination of clinical and case management services, establishing objectives and goals for the program in compliance with facility policy, JCAHO and other licensing standards, and ensuring all clinical documentation is in compliance with facility policies. This position will also screen, hire, orient, coach and supervise direct care staff.

Requirements include an undergraduate degree in health related field, education, recreation, psychology, or social services OR graduate from an accredited school of nursing or practical nursing with licensure and registration by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a R.N. or L.P.N. A Master's Degree in Social Work or related field and licensure as LCSW or LPC preferred. Candidates must have three (3) or more years clinical experience with children and adolescents preferably in a residential setting. Previous supervisory experience preferred. The ideal candidate is a demonstrated leader with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and individuals and strong knowledge of child and adolescent growth and development and key issues for these life stages.

The successful candidate will also posses outstanding organizational and problem solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential information in a professional, time sensitive manner. Superior verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the commitment to quality customer service.
