Program Supervisor, Creative Connections

SharpVisions is an innovative nonprofit human services organization providing customized supports for people with a variety of disabilities.  We are currently seeking a full time Program Supervisor for our Creative Connections family based Wrap program.

Position Summary:

The incumbent will manage and supervise people and programs responsible for implementing the provision of community based and therapeutic services for individuals with MR in combination with other disabilities.  Excellent decision making, time management and conflict resolution skills are required.  The ability to act responsibly as a team member and leader, supporting the individual, the program and organization is a must.

Duties include, but are not limited to:Coordinate and develop person centered plans and circles of support, in conjunction with support staff and others involvedPerform functions of program specialist, including development, monitoring, review and revision of program plans and the resulting goalsDevelop specialized support plans which address psychiatric, behavioral, or other concerns for each person servedCoordinate referral for services; coordinate and record admissions into the Creative Connections programProvide training, role modeling and supervision to support staffConduct interviews and screening of new employees; coordinate interviews between candidates and the specific person being supportedDevelop staff schedules and staff participation in team meetings, training and supervisionConduct performance evaluationsReview, verify and approve employee payroll documentsAppropriately use and account for all funds belonging to the person supportedSecure funding authorizations for new admissionsManage and document all petty cash transactionsEnsure consistency with the agency missionDemonstrate professionalism toward support staff, people served and other associates both inside and outside the companySeek out and participate in training and other educational opportunities that contribute to professional growthComplete other duties assigned by the Program Manager
