Project Coordinator II-UCEDD
Master's (Any) Childrens Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a Project Coordinator II (Child Center) for the University Center for Excellent in DD. The Project coordinator II will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of grants and research projects as assigned by the Principal Investigator/Project Director to achieve project goals and objectives, and to promote growth and expansion of UCEDD initiatives and programs. Also, oversees program development and designated clinical and research programs including clinical practice standards, grants, alliances and partnerships with community agencies, training and supervision of project staff and data collection and analysis. The Project Coordinator II will be responsible for supervising research staff to initiate and evaluate work performance. Will be responsible for the implementation, coordination and evaluation/reporting on multiple projects (grants and/or contracts) within the Center. Administrative responsibility to the project director or PI for assuring efficient, timely meeting of deadlines, successful coordination with project partners, oversight of activities and respond to project objectives, evaluation and compliance with grant and contract requirements. Will oversee State and National projects that address improving access to, coordination of systems of care for children and youth with special health care needs, in partnership with State and National partners. Qualifications: Masters degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience. Must be computer literate with Microsoft office applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Three years of successful administration and coordination of grants/contracts, database management, fiscal monitoring, staff training, and working with community agencies.
