Project Director - Health Services - UMass Medical School - Shrewsbury, MA

Summary:



Under the general direction of the Senior Project Director or designee, the Project Director II will manage the day-to-day operations of short- term and multi-year health services research projects, with a focus on quality measurement design and implementation.  Major responsibilities include providing overall direction to project teams; developing work plans, study designs and analysis plans; overseeing the development of data collection instruments and data collection performed by contracted vendors; and managing the production of project reports and other deliverables, such as presentations to University and state agency staff.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Ø  Masters Degree or equivalent in Health Care Administration, Public Health, or a health policy-related field and

Ø  Five or more years experience developing and managing health services research projects.

Ø  Experience working with Medicaid agencies or within an academic setting.

Ø  Practical knowledge of quality measurement methodologies and experience overseeing the collection or analysis of medical record data desired.
