PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Summary:
Responsible for all stages of business process for integrating a new customer. This covers all aspects from requirements definitions to project planning and implementation, while providing a proactive interface between the external customers, internal departments and technical staff to ensure effective definition of and delivery of business process to our customers.
Job Responsibilities
· Manage multiple, parallel project timelines for customer installs and other projects using formal project planning techniques.
· Meet with customers through conference calls and personal visits to investigate the customer needs and gather information regarding project requirements.
· Define, interpret and document complex business requirements and processes.
· Lead design sessions and review with technical and business staff, including all levels of management.
· Coordinate the implementation plan with Implementations Department and other project team members.
· Plan and facilitate installation meetings with Integration Team members and customer staff to finalize all aspects of the installation of the Spheris system.
· Plan and organize post-installation meetings to discuss installations and confront any unresolved issues or concerns.
· Review installation reports and provide documentation on Spheris system configurations to Spheris staff.
· Communicate project status (es) to management, including any problems known and solutions to avoid them.
· Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelors Degree in Business, Health Information Management, MIS, RHIA, or related field or equivalent experience required.
· PMP desired.
· Prior experience in a technical/customer service/health care environment.
· 2-5 years experience in a project management role in a complex business and systems environment (preferably in the healthcare arena).· Strong business analysis, problem solving, interpersonal, customer management, and project management skills are essential.
· Demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple parallel projects.
· Excellent oral and written communications skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
