Project Manager, Special Projects International Services to join their team in the Oak Brook, IL area. We invite you to join our team of dedicated partners committed to creating a better experience for the patient.The Project Manager, Special Projects International Services manages multiple complex and confidential projects which meet the organizational and business development priorities of international consulting and education services.  Handles all functions related to managing complex consulting projects such as non-standards consulting projects, USAID projects, World Bank, Ministry of Health projects, large health care systems, etc. that require ongoing monitoring including gathering and coordinating data to respond to RFPs, determining level of effort and writing proposals.  Builds successful client relationships in order to implement and monitor the successful completion of projects.  Develops and oversees long-term and short-term goals and strategies related to multi-year contracts with international clients.  Assists in planning and managing the successful presentation of international education events. May host receptions for clients, work in trade booths or participate in panel discussions and represent JCI Consulting at formal and informal speaking engagements, sometimes in sensitive situations and environments. 

Requirements:  Master’s degree in a health care related field.  Registered Nurse (RN) is preferred.  Five to seven years experience in a hospital setting with demonstrated experience in project management for multi-million dollar projects.  Experience in health care operations with working knowledge of Joint Commission International (“JCI”) standards, survey process and policies.  Knowledge of the international health care environment strongly preferred.  Excellent organizational, analytical, project management and operations,

interpersonal and organizational skills.  Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects, including monitoring staff in completing project deliverables within timelines, budget and available resources, multi-

cultural awareness, and the ability to analyze and creatively resolve problems.  Strong verbal skills, public speaking skills at a level to effectively represent JCI Consulting at formal and informal speaking engagements, sometimes in sensitive situations and environments.  Fluency in other languages desirable.

 Computer proficiency using a variety of computer platforms and software programs. Availability to travel

internationally, on occasion, to facilitate business development efforts or oversee education program implementation.
