Prospect Research Analyst IV

UC Davis Health System, Health Sciences Advancement Division, located in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Prospect Research Manager to serve as the

UC Davis Health System expert in the development of prospect identification and research strategies for major gift prospects and donors in conjunction with campus-wide fundraising initiatives. The Prospect Research Analyst creates a strategic plan for prospect development and tracking for HSA and campus-wide fundraising programs. A major gift prospect is evaluated by the Development Research Unit to have the capacity to make a gift equal to or greater than $25,000. In this role, the Analyst serves as a senior strategist and principal HSA authority on prospect research, wealth trends in the economy and community at large, and in the management and implementation of the HSA and campus-wide systems in support of knowledge management practices.

 

Requires successful management of a Development Research program, or combination of education and experience within a Development Research program with a focus on major donor research, preferably in an institution of higher education. Advanced prospect research skills and experience, including complex and sophisticated electronic databases (i.e. Lexis-Nexis, Dialog, Dun and Bradstreet.  Demonstrated knowledge of fundraising and public information laws and regulations. Excellent strategic, analytical and management skills.
