Provider Contracting Representative

Medical Mutual, Ohio's oldest health insurance company, is seeking a Provider Contracting Representative for its Cincinnatti office. This positions recruits providers to participate in Medical Mutual products. The qualified candidate will perform as a negotiator in the development of professional provider agreements. Analyze provider reimbursement in a geographic region and make recommendations based on the analysis. The qualified candidate will also service and strengthen relationships with providers and conduct educational presentations for the provider community.

Minimum qualifications:
1)  A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Health Care Administration or related field
2) Provider contracting or reimbursement experience with a commercial insurance carrier or similar environment. Understanding of contract language. Thorough understanding of insurance product lines and the health care industry.
3) Financial analysis and research skills.
4) Well developed interpersonal communication skills including strong human relations skills emphasizing conflict management, negotiating and problem-solving skills.  Highly self motivated
5) Valid driver's license and automobile available for business use.
6) Demonstrated PC experience with Excel and Access.
