Provider Service Specialist - Onalaska, WI

If you like the sound of working in a position that offers a nice balance between data entry and customer service, this may be the perfect role for you. Primary Responsibilities:  Link providers in the claims paying system to the appropriate provider networks via an internal system of research and contract validation. Call providers to obtain missing/invalid claim information when necessary. Enter correct provider demographic data into the provider maintenance screen. Take calls from members requesting information on participating providers. Assist members with locating a provider in their geographic area.  Update any changes to provider detail information into the claims paying system. Maintain W9 Provider forms. Access/research appropriate network applications for PPO verifications/contracts. Manage various clerical tasks such as provider address updates, paper claim verification, returned mail, etc.  Qualifications: Previous office experience is required for this role. Strong customer service and data entry skills are essential. Candidates must be accurate and attentive to detail. Any medical/insurance background is desired. Basic MS Office skills are a must. Great communication skills will be key to success.
