Summary

About the Job Sweetser is looking for a Child or Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the Plymouth and Belfast Residential campuses. *Enjoy the day-to-day interactions of being on campus with a team of professionals.

Locations: Belfast or Plymouth The Ideal Candidate Will: Will generally be limited to those clients age 18 and younger Provide assessment and treatment of clients including psychiatric evaluation, treatment planning, client education and provision of informed, and writing of prescriptions. Maintain required professional skills, credentials, and certifications (active Family NP license, DEA certification, etc) Provide value to the community (productivity) through effective effort providing reliable, competent services as assigned. Education RequirementsA Master's degree from an accredited program in psychiatric nursing required. Maine Psychiatric NP License or Child Psychiatric NP License is required and must be maintained by the applicant throughout employment (including any necessary continuing education, license reapplications, etc.).A valid DEA certificate is also required, with full prescriptive authority including Schedule II controlled substances preferred.A valid driver's license.General RequirementsTwo years experience in outpatient, residential, or crisis settings depending upon position available is preferred but not required.
