Job Description



 

This is professional medical work in the field of psychiatry in Community Services Group’s All Seasons Program.  An employee in this position serves as the leader of the treatment team and provides direct clinical care to adults (30%) and children (70%); works closely with the psychiatric assessment team performing psychiatric assessment, and serves an integral role in the treatment of patients in the behavioral health continuum.

 

Job Duties

 

Provides direct psychiatric care for clients.Conduct psychiatric evaluations and monitor medications. Provides psychiatric leadership to the Treatment Team in outpatient, partial and program settings.Determines and evaluates each client’s strengths, goals, and interventions.Provides clinical expertise and direction for program developmentProvides ongoing evaluation and approval of existing clinical programEnsure that the quality assessment standards are met by following the procedures identified in the equality Assessment Plan evaluating levels of compliance.Provides community liaison services, including but not limited, medical providers, psychiatric providers, mental health providers and payers in the form of consultation and/or education services.

 



Job Requirements



 

A graduate from an accredited medical school.  Board eligible or board certified in psychiatry, serving a residency in general psychiatry with license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania or license eligibility in Pennsylvania. Applicants must pass criminal background and child abuse clearances.
