Consultation – Liaison Service of the Department of Psychiatry

 

Coler-Goldwater Specialty Hospital and Nursing Facility is an outstanding 2016 bed Joint Commission and CARF accredited facility, located on Roosevelt Island, which is part of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation.

 

The position requires a Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or Clinical Health or Clinical Neuropsychology.

 

The successful candidate will have:

 A NYS License or be NYS License eligible (preferred)

 Expertise in individual and group psychotherapy

 Neuropsychological assessment/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

 Experience in substance abuse treatment

 Computer literacy is a must

 Spanish competency is a plus

 The interest and ability to supervise interns in the Psychology Internship Program
