R&D Technician

Summary:

 

We are looking for a senior electronic technician who enjoys bread boarding and proof of concept projects. Working with a senior design engineer, you will be required to use your understanding of analog/digital circuit operation, to build and test circuits and operate experiments, using a wide variety of equipment. You will need to be a self motivated, well organized and a creative problem solver, who can work with both oral descriptions and sketches to build proof of concept systems. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

In this role you will be doing electrical and electro-mechanical circuit building, testing, and validation through experimental procedures. This position provides a great opportunity to be involved with the development of high performance, high powered systems for medical applications and supports the career path of a highly motivated learner.

 

Requirements:

 5 – 10 years practical experience using lab tools and instruments Proficient in surface mount component assembly and reworkProficient in power conversions and the use of IGBT,MOSFET, gate drivers, control circuits, output stages, and high power rectification with voltages up to 1000Vdc
