RDA - Registered Dental Assistant

We have an immediate opening for a Registered Dental Assistant. Position is located at the following address:

Job Description: Performs a variety of technical/clinical, chair-side, administrative and staff support duties under general supervision in a clinical and/or teaching setting.  Assists dentists in the performance of dental and radiography procedures; assists in four-handed dentistry, prepares and maintains dental equipment and supplies in accordance with established protocol, policies and procedures.  Assists in the coordination of day-to-day patient administration, records management, and office support activities. Requirements:

Education: Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training. 

Licenses/Certification required: Certificates of Radiation Safety, Coronal Polish and Registered Dental Assistant.  Current CA Driver License with reliable transportation.

Experience: 2 years as a dental assistant

Technical Knowledge: Four handed dentistry, full scope dentistry procedures and oral radiographic services.  Proficient in Windows Microsoft based computer programs, email and dental management programs such as Dentrix are preferable.
