We are currently searching for an experienced Referrals Nurse to join our growing Referrals Department. In this compliance driven role, you will be responsible for ensuring continuity of care for Monarch HealthCare members with authorization requests in process for treatment and for meeting regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate for our Referral Nurse will be able to:
Follow established policies and procedures to review and complete referral authorizationsProcess referrals utilizing Monarch's in-house software, EZ-Cap and InterQualReview and average of 80 referrals per day with attention on clinical criteria and documentationBuild and maintain productive professional relationships with members of our Clinical Department, our physician partners, member and other professionals
In addition, candidates for this position are required to be a RN or LVN with a current and active California license; CCM is preferred but not required.
