RESIDENT PROGRAMS ASSISTANT-Part-Time

We also work in partnership with community organizations in ways that strengthen the connection between those organizations and the residents we all serve.
The joint mission of Hope Through Housing Foundation and National Community Renaissance is to provide quality affordable housing and community services that result in healthy, stable and successful individuals and families. National CORE is a nonprofit 501(c)3 developer with in-house capacity to construct and renovate large scale developments. Its mission is to create affordable housing communities that contribute to neighborhood vitality.
We currently have an extraordinary opportunity for a RESIDENT PROGRAMS ASSISTANT to join our awesome team!
The Resident Programs Assistant works onsite at one or more communities to assist in the development, oversight and delivery of ongoing Senior Wellness programs and services, under the direction of the Regional Services Manager. Resident Services Coordinator works with onsite management teams and Community Based Organizations to ensure effective implementation of programs for seniors and other adults, and to provide resource and referral services.
The ideal candidate must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years experience managing and delivering social services
and assistance to older adults and/or persons with disabilities.
• A Bachelors degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred, but not
required. Degree in progress and/or relevant experience may be
acceptable.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Publisher, and Excel.
• Ability to use the internet, on-line research, and data entry.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of the nonprofit sector, Senior Services and programming.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to accurately document service delivery and maintain records for
the oversight of contracts with community organizations.
• High level of self motivation and ability to motivate others
• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to complete administrative tasks as assigned
• A collaborative, team-oriented work style.
