RN-Adolescent Detox (Weekend Nurse)

Program Overview:

CHL's MYR (Motivating Youth Recovery) Program is an acute in-patient program providing a therapeutic milieu setting for adolescents who are detoxing and stabilizing from substance abuse. The program is the only one of its kind in the state of Massachusetts providing these services to adolescents. The program utilizes a multi-disciplinary team of service providers, including nursing staff, clinicians and direct care staff to provide services.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

PT(16 hrs/wk) Weekend RN to

 

• Provide nursing services to residents under the direction of the program's Medical and Detox Nursing Directors.
• Provide assessment, intervention, and evaluation of residents as well as the safe delivery of medicines and treatments.
• Complete nursing and medication assessment on all program residents.
• Monitors all residents' physical and behavioral conditions and document resident condition and nursing care delivered as per unit policy.
• Collaborate with other disciplines in aftercare planning for residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing.


Qualifications:

 BSN or ADN required; master's degree preferredValid MA RN license required.Minimum of 3 (three) years nursing experience in a detox setting.Experience working with pediatrics or adolescents a plus.
