They Psychiatric RN is a registerd professional nursw who prescribes, coordinates, and evalautes patient care through collaborative effors with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Psychiatric RN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on the physical, psycho social, educational, safety, age and related needs to appriate to the patients served. Provides nursing care and mental health assessments, treatment plans and therapeutic treatments. Knowlege of a wide range of disorders: cognitive, emotional, developmental, social and behavorial. Performs cris intervention. Participates in the department's performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing- required.
B.S.N.- preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute care nursing or two (2) years of realted experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility- preferred.
Current RN Licesne within the State of Arizona- required.
BLS (American Heart Association)- required upon hire.
MANDT Training, Seclusion & Restraint Credentialing successfully completed within the first 90 days of hire.
