RN Cardiac and Endovascular Lab

The Cardiac and Endovascular Nurse meets all the legal requirements of a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The RN knows and understands the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of Nursing Service as well as Cardiac and Endovascular Services and provides for their implementation. The RN will demonstrate the ability to provide care in the Cardiac and Endovascular Lab in accordance with the Nursing process. Assists physician during Interventional Medicine procedure and provides pre- and post-procedure care. The position demands sound judgment and advanced clinical skills to provide care in a wide variety of procedure areas including diagnostic and interventional vascular radiology, Cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertions, stress testing, NM, CT, US, GU, and mammography.

EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Registration and current RN license required. CPR certification needed. I.V. certified needed. ACLS/BCLS certification required.

EXPERIENCE: One year of Critical Care experience required.
