RN-Case Management-Utilization Review-Immediate Long Term Temporary Position-Midtown-M-F;9AM-5PM;  $50PER/HR! Possible Permanent Position for outstanding candidate after 120 Business Days. MUST HAVE Baccalaureate Degree in NURSING/MUST BE A REGISTERED NURSE IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK/LICENSE MUST BE CURRENT! MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2-3 YRS SOLID EXPERIENCE IN CASE MANAGEMENT/UTILIZATION REVIEW/MUST HAVE MINIMUM 2-3 YRS EXP IN AN ACUTE CARE FACILITY;PREFERABLY IN MEDICINE/SURGERY or SPECIAL CARE UNITS/ MUST HAVE....MUST HAVE 2-3 YRS EXP. IN ACUTE UTILIZATION REVIEW. RN CASE MANAGER OR NURSING SUPERVISOR  Candidate is responsible for performing hospital utilization reviews and must have the ability to work independently.MUST have EXP; Reviewing Medical Records for Medical Necessity,appropriateness,quality of care and DRG validation.EXP;w/ Daily contact w/acute and chronically ill patients in New York State.Ongoing assessment,determination of family and patient needs;maintenance of communication w/ physicians and often obtaining home health services.Extensive Exp; and educational background in Medicine-surgical nursing.Must be able to relate effectively w/medical and administrative personnel as well as the public.
