RN Clinical Applications Trainer

Responsible for conducting instructor-led training and providing user support for Clinical Applications, specifically the detailed systems required for patient care at the University of Miami Miller School Of Medicine.

Provide end-user training in a variety of sessions (large groups, small group, or one to one) for assigned Clinical Application supported by UMCET. Provide post-production training support for refresher training for end-users as required. Provide training and support for the Clinical Application Support Specialist (CASS). Develop manuals, job aids, classroom exercises’, and competency testing in support of the employee roles that need to use Clinical Systems to complete their work. Revise existing materials as necessary to reflect the needs of the audience and application enhancements or upgrades. Participate in application testing, simulations and go-live activities, including production support of new projects or production enhancements. Participates in all clinical operations meetings to access user feedback, gather future requirements for modifications, and provide a status to the group on competency, adoption, and utilization rates.






Bachelor’s degree in health care or other appropriate field of study and /or a minimum of three years experience training preferred. Clinical Application Training preferred. Knowledge of operational healthcare hospital and ambulatory workflows required. This position requires excellent presentation and communications skills, oral and written, to enable interaction with physicians, clinical staff, department staff, Clinical Analysts, Technical Staff and our internal team. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
