In all we do, we strive to meet our patients' needs and expectations.About the Opportunity Spring View Health & Rehab Center, Inc. is looking for an RN Nurse to work 12-hr weekend shifts plus relief at their 120 bed long term care facility located in Leitchfield, Kentucky. Baylor Bonus: work 12 hrs get paid equivalent of 16 hour. You'll be surrounded by people who are passionate about what they do.Qualifications Licensed in the State of Kentucky 1-2 yrs Experience or Advanced Credentials Team Player Consistent and AccurateEmpathetic Enjoys working with Geriatrics Sensitive to others' needs Respectful of private informationCustomary Duties of LPN/RN -Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care provided and initiate appropriate action as necessary -Follow established performance standards and implement facility policies and procedures -Obtain report from nurse being relieved and record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessary relating to the residents' treatment needs -Identify special nursing problems and emergency situations quickly and initiate immediate 'life-saving' measures in the absence of a physician -Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action -Provide clinical supervision to nursing assistants -Use and supervise the use of equipment and supplies efficiently and in a cost-effective manner -Administer treatments according to the physician's order and accurately record treatments administered -Obtain physician's orders and any revisions for treatments as necessary -Consistently work cooperatively with residents, nursing personnel, physicians, families, consultant personnel, community agencies and ancillary personnelBenefits Because we know you are our strongest asset we offer an attractive benefits package for full-time employment, including medical/dental insurance, life insurance, short/long term disability, PDO, retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, paid orientation and much more.
