RN / Registerd Nurse Area Manager

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a RN, with 5 years management experience, to provide oversight to the Case Management nursing staff across the U.S.

Job Description:

As the first line point of contact for SHR Medical Management nursing staff on medical management issues and SHR’s contract with the Air Force Medical System (AFMS), the Case Management Area Manager assists with the development of the medical management plan and the smooth implementation of the AFMS Medical Management Program. 

 

Job Requirements:

The Position of RN Area Manager has the following requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferredCCM or CPUR/UM certification highly desiredMinimum of 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care clinical settingMinimum of 5 years in management positionsHome Health experience highly desiredManaged Care/HMO/PPO/Insurance Industry/Health Plan experienceMinimum of 3 years utilization management/review experienceMinimum of 1 year of discharge planning experienceKnowledge of TRICARE policy and Military Health System (MHS) preferredKnowledge of Interqual and Milliman review criteriaExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent computer and organizational skills
