RN UNIT BASED-PRN-SMC ONCOLOGY

The Oncology RN – Assesses and evaluates data from multiple sources including the patient, significant other(s), multidisciplinary cancer care team and support services to develop and coordinate an individualized holistic plan of care with the patient. Identifies nursing diagnosis and expected outcomes to plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individual patient care on the oncology nursing unit, according to patient care standards and guidelines, maintaining standards of the State Nurse Practice Act to promote/restore the optimal health and well being of the patient. Is responsible and accountable to facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the team to identify and meet the physical, psycho-social  and spiritual needs of the patient. Documents initial and ongoing assessment data,  plan of care and patient responses to facilitate continuity of care across services.

 

Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Colo.  BLS required.
