RN/Unlicensed Intern Clinician

RN/Clinician needed for our new Mental Health Crisis Stabilization Unit for Adolescents & Adults in Victorville

We are currently looking for a short hour, weekends/nights RN/Unlicensed Intern Clinician for our Telecare, Victorville program. 

 

Using Psychiatric Rehabilitation principals and Recovery Philosophy provides clinical and administrative supervision, coaching and education for assigned team members with appropriate psychiatric support to ensure service excellence and courteous, helpful, and respectful services to customers.  Provides direct customer, community support, crisis intervention and case management services to assigned customers.  Provides education and support to customers and their families.  Coordinates service needs and collaborates with other services and agencies such as Child Protective Services, Health and Mental Health Services. Completes assessments and determines the appropriate level of services for new customers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 Licensed wavered mental health professional (ACSW or MFTI) with two (2) years of direct clinical service is required.  Must have (6) six years experience in a psychiatric settingNew grads welcome with (6) six years prior experience as an LPTOutpatient clinic or community mental health service is preferred.  Experience in providing intensive case management, intensive community supports using psychiatric rehabilitation concepts is highly desirable.  Applicant must be fingerprinted and receive clearance from the Department of Justice, Office of inspector General, and the DMV. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.  Must have completed first aid and CPR training or obtain certification within four (4) weeks of hire.

 

*Bilingual/bi-cultural English/Spanish preferred.
